    NOW ENTERING – UZBEKISTAN

    Day 1

    ▶ SINGAPORE – TASHKENT (D)

    Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Tashkent, capital city and known for its many museums and its mix of modern Islamic and Soviet-era architecture.

    Day 2

    ▶ TASHKENT (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, start your day exploring the old town of Tashkent with a visit to Khazrati Imam Architectural Complex, the religious centre of the city and place of worship for Muslim pilgrims. Surrounding architectural highlights include Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Kaffal-Shashi Mausoleum and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari, home to a rich library of oriental manuscripts.

    Continue to Kukeldash Madrasah, one of the most monumental religious buildings in Central Asia. Head to Chorsu Bazaar, the oldest market in Tashkent, to shop for local snacks and crafts.

    After lunch, proceed to the Museum of Applied Arts, located in the old mansion of the Russian Turkestan governor, home to over 7,000 pieces of traditional folk art including ceramics, glass, porcelain, costumes and jewellery.

    Day 3

    ▶ TASHKENT – CHIMGAN – TASHKENT (B/L/D)

    Today, proceed to Chimgan Mountain, part of the Western Tianshan Mountain Range. Ride a chairlift up the mountain for a panoramic view of the snow-capped range.

    Optional skiing or quad-biking activities are available at your own expense.

    Continue to Charvak Reservoir, a dam completed in 1970 that submerged about 150 archaeological sites when it was filled.

    After lunch, enjoy free time for shopping at a nearby shopping centre.

    Day 4

    ▶ TASHKENT – BUKHARA (B/L/D)

    This morning, proceed to the airport for your domestic flight to Bukhara.

    Upon arrival, step into a city rich in culture with a tour around the former capital and centre of Islamic learning, once home to over 300 mosques and known as the holiest city in Asia with its 80 madrasahs.

    Visit:

    • Bolo Hauz Mosque
    • Ismail Samani Mausoleum
    • Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum
    • Bahoutdin Architectural Complex

    Day 5

    ▶ BUKHARA – GIJDUVAN – SAMARKAND (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, travel to Gijduvan to visit a famous pottery-making workshop.

    The Gijduvan ceramics school has deep roots, with skills passed from father to son for generations. Gijduvan is home to the sixth generation of potters from the Narzullayev family, celebrated worldwide.

    The distinctive ceramics are recognised by their geometric green and blue patterns.

    Afterwards, continue to Samarkand, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and the oldest in Central Asia.

    Day 6

    ▶ SAMARKAND (B/L/D)

    Samarkand, located in the valley of the Zerafshan River, is Uzbekistan's second-largest city and also known as Babylon or Rome of the East.

    Today's sightseeing includes:

    • Registan Square
    • Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis
    • Gur-Emir Mausoleum
    • Bibi-Khanym Mosque

    These remarkable monuments date from the 11th–17th centuries and include UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

    NOW ENTERING – TAJIKISTAN

    Day 7

    ▶ SAMARKAND – PANJAKENT – DUSHANBE (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, depart Samarkand and travel towards the Jartepa Border to cross into Tajikistan.

    After immigration formalities, continue to the ancient city of Panjakent, one of the oldest settlements in Central Asia with a history dating back more than 5,500 years. The city was once a major trading centre along the Silk Road.

    Visit:

    • Rudaki Museum
    • Ancient Settlement of Panjakent
    • Local Bazaar

    Continue your scenic drive through the beautiful mountain landscape towards Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan.

    Day 8

    ▶ DUSHANBE (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, discover the highlights of Dushanbe.

    Visit:

    • National Museum of Tajikistan
    • Ismaili Centre
    • Rudaki Park
    • National Flagpole
    • Palace of Nations
    • Independence Monument

    Continue to Mehrgon Bazaar, one of the city's largest and most colourful local markets, where you can experience local life and shop for dried fruits, spices and souvenirs.

    Enjoy dinner before returning to the hotel.

    NOW ENTERING – KAZAKHSTAN


    Day 9

    ▶ DUSHANBE – ALMATY (B/L/D)

    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan.

    Upon arrival, begin your city tour with visits to:

    • Panfilov Park
    • Zenkov Cathedral
    • Memorial of Glory
    • Green Bazaar

    Continue to Kok Tobe Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views overlooking the city of Almaty.

    Day 10

    ▶ ALMATY (B/L/D)

    Today, head to the spectacular Charyn Canyon, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Central Asia.

    Explore the famous Valley of Castles, where millions of years of erosion have created magnificent rock formations resembling castles and towers.

    Continue to admire the breathtaking canyon landscapes before returning to Almaty.

    Day 11

    ▶ ALMATY (B/L/D)

    This morning, proceed to Talgar Gorge in Ile Alatau National Park.

    Enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful alpine scenery surrounded by forests and snow-capped peaks.

    The area is well known for:

    • Spectacular mountain landscapes
    • Rich flora and fauna

    Return to Almaty after the excursion.

    Day 12

    ▶ ALMATY – KARAKOL (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, depart Kazakhstan and journey overland into Kyrgyzstan via the Kegen Border.

    Upon arrival in Karakol, begin your sightseeing tour with visits to:

    • Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral
    • Dungan Mosque, a unique Chinese-style mosque built entirely without nails.
    • Local town centre

    Learn about the multicultural history of Karakol, where Russian, Dungan and Kyrgyz cultures have coexisted for generations.

    Day 13

    ▶ KARAKOL – JETY OGUZ – TAMGA (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, head to the scenic Jety-Oguz Gorge, one of Kyrgyzstan's most famous natural attractions.

    Marvel at the striking red sandstone cliffs, including the legendary Seven Bulls and Broken Heart rock formations.

    Continue your journey along the southern shore of the magnificent Issyk-Kul Lake, the world's second-largest alpine lake.

    Arrive at Tamga, where you will experience an unforgettable stay at the exclusive Travylo Yurt Camp, enjoying traditional Kyrgyz hospitality.

    Day 14

    ▶ TAMGA (B/L/D)

    Enjoy a unique cultural experience today.

    Highlights include:

    • Traditional Eagle Hunting Demonstration
    • Meet local eagle hunters and learn about this ancient nomadic tradition.
    • Visit the spectacular Fairytale Canyon (Skazka Canyon), famous for its colourful rock formations sculpted by wind and erosion into shapes resembling castles, animals and mythical creatures.

    Return to the yurt camp for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 15

    ▶ TAMGA – BISHKEK (B/L/D)

    Depart Tamga and travel towards Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.

    En route, admire the beautiful scenery surrounding Issyk-Kul Lake before continuing to Bishkek.

    Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour featuring:

    • State Historical Museum (outside view)
    • Victory Square
    • Oak Park
    • Philharmonic Hall
